I caught your show in Jan 2020 at Granada in Dallas and then New Porngraphers in early Mar 2020, both close to being sold out. Little did we know what would happen very shortly after that….
I cannot but smile when I hear someone talk about their 'dongle'! It's generally just called a USB receiver over here, and that just doesn't have the same comedic potential. I have an urge to go to a public place and loudly talk about my purple dongle and whether I should see someone about the rust. Or is that just age? This piece reminded me of the Some Girls tour you covered in your memoir - the touring life as periods of mundanity and general weariness interspersed with moments of hilarity and (hopefully) exhilaration. Do you still feel it, Juliana? If only for a minute? I hope so. I look forward to your next posting.
Hey Juliana, aren't you allowed to write off your tour clothes, et al. Because you, i believe, own your own business?
Which is very cool, especially when you're gonna donate them to charity. Tax write off + helping others = karma!!!
Looking forward to your next record of originals, while I enjoy Pussycat in the car due to the state of our USA. You should reissue that or have American Laundry's promo team (?) Try to push those songs to radio or maybe play at a Boston protest??

I feel like the luckiest person in the world
Allow me to suggest, regarding tour clothes: On the last handful of dates during a tour, start selling them off at the merch table.

You may remember me, Julie the superman.
David Pirner rules! We got to meet him and get a photo with Soul Asylum at the Athenaeum in Columbus last October. In our top 5 shows we’ve ever seen!
