It’s April 1st and I am just now sitting down to start doing my taxes. I pulled the big paper shopping bag full of the year’s receipts, stubs, checks, 1099s, credit card statements, bank statements etc. out of the cupboard and dumped the whole thing upside down onto the living room floor. Then I knelt down in front of the pile, muttering “I just need to organize this stuff, then it won’t be so bad…organizing it is 90% of the work.”
